Amcor Fiscal Q1 Adjusted Earnings Rise, Net Sales Decline; Sells Stake in Bericap North America

04:30 PM EDT, 10/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amcor ( AMCCF ) reported fiscal Q1 adjusted earnings late Thursday of $0.162 per diluted share, up from $0.156 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.16.

Net sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 were $3.35 billion, down from $3.44 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $3.45 billion.

The company reiterated its fiscal 2025 guidance of adjusted EPS between $0.72 and $0.76. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $0.74.

Amcor ( AMCCF ) said separately that it agreed to sell its 50% stake in Bericap North America for $122 million

Amcor ( AMCCF ) shares were down more than 2% in after-hours trading.
