09:49 AM EDT, 03/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- AMD (AMD) said Tuesday its adaptive computing technology was selected by Sony Group's ( SONY ) Sony Semiconductor Solutions division for automotive Light Detection and Ranging, or LiDAR, projects.

The companies will work together on a LiDAR product for autonomous cars, AMD said.
