04:02 PM EDT, 06/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ) will supply high-performance AI chips to Crusoe to as part of a collaboration to expand cloud-based AI infrastructure.
Crusoe said Thursday it will deploy AMD's Instinct MI355X graphics processing units within its data centers and AI cloud platform, enabling clients to run complex AI training workloads.
Crusoe plans to purchase $400 million worth of AI chips from AMD and build a data center to house 13,000 GPUs, Reuters reported, citing an interview with Crusoe Chief Executive Officer Chase Lochmiller.
AMD and Crusoe plan to collaborate on sales and marketing to introduce the new offering to enterprises amid rising demand for scalable AI infrastructure, Crusoe said in a statement.
The new cloud offering is expected to launch in the autumn, Crusoe said.
