08:57 AM EDT, 06/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amdocs ( DOX ) said Tuesday it is partnering with Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google Cloud business to integrate their technologies and offer eSIM onboarding services to communications service providers, or CSPs.

The company said its eSIM Cloud platform will now work with Google Cloud's Telecom Subscriber Insights to enable CSPs to provide global eSIM services. The joint service will be managed and sold by Amdocs ( DOX ), the company added.

The service is expected to simplify the activation process by making it fully digital, reducing the need for physical SIM cards, and enabling remote device activation, Amdocs ( DOX ) said.
