AMD's GPU Business Expected to Bounce Back in Q4, Piper Sandler Analyst Says

11:21 AM EDT, 06/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Advanced Micro Devices' ( AMD ) GPU business is expected to see "a snapback" in Q4 after it works its way through most of the China-related charges, Piper Sandler analyst Harsh Kumar said in a note.

"Overall, we are enthused with the product launches at the AMD event this week, specifically the Helios rack, which we think is pivotal for AMD Instinct growth," Kumar said. "We also note that the largest of the business units, namely client is starting to see some pull-ins."

AMD shares were up 9.2% in recent trading.
