Amentum Breaks Ground on Indiana Radiation Test Facility

09:14 AM EDT, 08/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amentum (AMTM) said Thursday it has broken ground on a radiation combined environment test facility in Odon, Indiana, in partnership with the Naval Surface Warfare Center's Crane division.

The site will support the US Department of Defense by testing and validating microelectronics in harsh conditions that simulate conflict environments, Amentum said.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
