Amentum, GXO Logistics, Accenture, Maersk Form UK Defense Supply Chain Alliance

06:30 AM EDT, 03/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Amentum (AMTM), GXO Logistics ( GXO ) , Accenture ( ACN ) and Maersk said Thursday the companies have formed a new alliance to support UK's defense sector supply chain.

Under the alliance, Amentum will lead integration and program management, GXO will develop and operate logistics solutions, Accenture ( ACN ) will provide digital enablement and decision support capability, and Maersk will provide global integrated movement services, the companies said.

The alliance, called Torus Defence Supply Chain, will support UK sovereign mission readiness and also invest in UK infrastructure, according to a joint statement.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Amentum and Accenture ( ACN ) shares were down 0.4%, while GXO Logistics ( GXO ) was 1.9% lower in Thursday premarket trading.
