11:13 AM EST, 12/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amentum Holdings ( AMTM ) said Wednesday that the West Valley Cleanup Alliance joint venture received a deactivation and demolition contract for the West Valley Project Phase 1B in New York state.

BWXT Technical Services Group leads the joint venture, which includes Amentum's Jacobs Technology and Geosyntec Consultants.

Amentum will clean up the West Valley Demonstration Project, the company said.

The US Department of Energy contract has a maximum value of $3 billion over a 10-year ordering period, Amentum said.
