05:33 PM EDT, 04/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amerant Bancorp ( AMTB ) is selling six branch locations in Houston to MidFirst Bank, the privately held bank said late Wednesday.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition will add approximately $576 million in deposits and $529 million in loans to MidFirst portfolio.

The deal is expected to close during H2 2024, subject to regulatory approvals and other customer conditions.
