07:44 AM EST, 02/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ameren ( AEE ) subsidiary Ameren Missouri said Friday it has updated its integrated resource plan to provide 1.5 gigawatts of expected new energy demand by 2032.

The utility said it has construction agreements with "potential large load customers for new energy demand."

The updated plan factors in an overall increase of 1.8 gigawatts through 2030 and a total of 2.3 gigawatts by 2035, for a total expected investment of $7 billion in 10 years.

Ameren Missouri has also filed its updated five-year smart energy plan with the Missouri Public Service Commission, which calls for $16.2 billion in grid infrastructure investments.
