04:22 AM EDT, 05/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ameren ( AEE ) said Monday that it priced an underwritten offering of about 5.6 million shares of its common stock at $94 per share.

All shares are expected to be borrowed by forward counterparties from third parties and sold to its underwriters and offered in connection with forward sale agreements, the company said.

Ameren ( AEE ) said it expects to enter into forward sale agreements with some underwriters, each in its capacity as forward counterparty.

Underwriters in the offering will also have a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 832,562 shares, according to Ameren ( AEE ). The offering is expected to close on or about Wednesday.

The company said it plans to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including to repay its short-term debt.
