04:43 AM EDT, 06/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ameren's ( AEE ) Ameren Illinois unit said late Monday it priced a public offering of $625 million of 5.55% first mortgage bonds due 2054 at 99.81% of the principal amount.

The unit expects to close the offering on June 27 and said proceeds will be used to repay a portion of its short-term debt.
