09:04 AM EDT, 03/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ameresco ( AMRC ) said Wednesday it and Velarium Energy completed a $30 million contract to modernize residential energy systems at US Army military family housing at Fort Polk, Louisiana.

Under the contract, the companies replaced traditional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems with renewable ground-source heat pump technology, deployed advanced energy metering systems, and installed high-efficiency LED lighting, Ameresco ( AMRC ) said.

Shares of Ameresco ( AMRC ) were up 1.8% in Wednesday premarket activity.
