Ameresco Teams Up With US Navy to Build Data Center, Energy Infrastructure at California Naval Air Station

09:26 AM EDT, 09/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ameresco ( AMRC ) said Tuesday it plans to build a 100 MW artificial intelligence-optimized data center and critical energy infrastructure at Naval Air Station Lemoore in California together with the US Navy and CyrusOne.

The company said that while the agreements are being finalized, it expects the development to be one of its biggest energy assets.

Ameresco ( AMRC ) said it expects the first part of the project to come online in 2027 and to be built on land that it leased from the Department of Defense.

Ameresco ( AMRC ) shares were up almost 18% in recent premarket activity.
