American Electric Power Files $10 Billion Mixed Shelf

12:23 PM EST, 11/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- American Electric Power ( AEP ) filed a registration statement Wednesday with the US Securities and Exchange Commission for the potential sale of up to $10 billion of securities from time to time.

The filing covers senior notes, common stock, preferred stock, junior subordinated debentures, stock purchase contracts and stock purchase units.

The company said it plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.
