01:58 PM EDT, 07/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Honda Motor's ( HMC ) American Honda unit said Tuesday that June sales increased 1.1% to 112,742 units from a year earlier.

Truck sales rose 3.4% to 75,661 units and car sales fell 3.3% to 37,081 units, American Honda said.

Electrified vehicle sales declined 9.6% to 23,981 units, the Honda Motor ( HMC ) unit said.

Shares of Honda Motor ( HMC ) were down 1.5% in recent trading.
