05:25 PM EST, 01/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- American Lithium ( AMLIF ) after close of trade Wednesday its fiscal third-quarter loss narrowed.
The lithium explorer said it lost $3.64-million, or $0.02 per share, in the quarter ended Nov.30, compared with a loss of $11.17 million, or $0.05, in the year-prior period.
It ended the quarter with $3.49 million of cash on hand, down from $11.89 million a year earlier.
"With strong fundamentals in place we continue to focus on diligently advancing all our projects during the challenging battery metals market backdrop as we anticipate a recovery in the near future," said interim chief executive Alex Tsakumis.
American Lithium ( AMLIF ) shares closed down $0.02 to $0.58 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
