01:09 PM EDT, 07/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- American Superconductor ( AMSC ) said Wednesday that it has received an order for its 3 megawatt wind turbine electrical control systems from Indian wind turbine maker, Inox Wind, worth more than $12 million.

American Superconductor ( AMSC ) said it expects to ship most of the electrical control systems during fiscal year 2024.

Under their existing license deal, AMSC will be the supplier of electrical control systems for Inox's 3 MW class wind turbines.

Shares of the company were down more than 5% in recent trading.
