08:30 AM EDT, 07/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- American Vanguard ( AVD ) said Monday that Chairman and Chief Executive Eric Wintemute will retire as CEO upon his successor's appointment but no later than Dec. 31.

Wintemute will continue to serve as the board's chairman and provide consulting services to the company on a part-time basis, American Vanguard ( AVD ) said.

The company said it has tapped the executive search firm Kincannon & Reed to seek Wintemute's successor.
