American Water Unit Buys City of Low Moor's Water, Wastewater Systems

06:01 PM EST, 11/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Iowa American Water, a subsidiary of American Water Works ( AWK ) , said late Monday that it has completed the purchase of the water and wastewater systems of the City of Low Moor.

The acquisition adds about 126 water and 128 wastewater connections to its Clinton service area and was approved by the Iowa Utilities Commission, the company said.
