03:12 PM EDT, 08/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- American Water Works ( AWK ) subsidiary California American Water said Friday it is partnering with Paired Power to provide microgrid electric vehicle charging to its electric vehicles in San Diego District.

The company said it recently installed Paired Power's PairTree, a solar canopy that combines solar power with available grid power and battery storage to deliver day or night charging for electric vehicles. Paired Power is a US solar microgrid manufacturer.
