04:51 PM EDT, 05/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- American Water Works ( AWK ) unit California American Water closed the acquisition of the Mesa Del Sol water system in the Corral de Tierra area of Salinas, California.

The company said Wednesday it acquired the system to interconnect the Mesa del Sol system with California American Water's Toro Park system. The deal adds 15 new water connections to the company's current customer base.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
