American Water's Pennsylvania Unit Gets $19.3 Million Funding

10:24 AM EST, 01/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- American Water Works' ( AWK ) Pennsylvania American Water unit said Friday it has obtained funding totaling $19.3 million from Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority for two infrastructure improvement projects in the state.

The two low-interest loans and a grant will support two of its projects, including wastewater treatment plant upgrades and the replacement of lead water services lines in McKean and Allegheny counties, respectively, the company said.
