09:39 AM EDT, 07/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ametek ( AME ) said Monday it has closed its acquisition of 3D measurement and imaging company Faro Technologies ( FARO ) for $44 per share in cash or about $920 million, net of cash acquired.

Faro's common stock will no longer trade on Nasdaq following completion of the deal, Ametek ( AME ) said.

Ametek ( AME ) said Faro will become part of its Ultra Precision Technologies Division within the company's Electronic Instruments Group.
