AMETEK to Acquire FARO Technologies for $920 million in cash

May 6 (Reuters) - AMETEK ( AME ) will acquire FARO

Technologies ( FARO ) for $44 per share in cash, the two

companies said on Tuesday.

The transaction values FARO at an enterprise value of

approximately $920 million.
