AMETEK's Q1 Adjusted Earnings Rise, Revenue Declines; Reaffirms 2025 Guidance

07:35 AM EDT, 05/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AMETEK ( AME ) reported Q1 adjusted earnings Thursday of $1.75 per diluted share, up from $1.64 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.69.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $1.73 billion, compared with $1.74 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.74 billion.

The company reaffirmed its 2025 adjusted EPS guidance to be between $7.02 and $7.18. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $7.08. Sales for the year are projected to be up in the low single digits. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $7.11 billion.

Shares of the company fell 3.3% in recent premarket activity.
