04:21 AM EDT, 08/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amkor Technology ( AMKR ) said late Thursday the location of its semiconductor packaging and test facility in Arizona has been "revised" to a 104-acre site within the Peoria Innovation Core, in north Peoria.

Previously, the location was a 56-acre parcel within the Five North at Vistancia community, the company said.

Construction at the new location is expected to begin "within days," with production likely to start in early 2028, the company said.
