08:30 AM EDT, 06/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Amneal Pharmaceuticals ( AMRX ) said Friday that interim results from its phase 4 study of Crexont to treat Parkinson's disease demonstrated substantial clinical benefit after patients switched to the drug from Rytary.
The biopharmaceutical company, which also owns Rytary, said Crexont provided significant increases in "Good On" time, and reductions in "Off" time, and improved motor symptom control.
"Good On" time refers to the amount of time without dyskinesia plus "on" time with non-troublesome dyskinesia, and is an indicator of successful motor symptom control, according to The Expert Institute for Parkinson's Disease, which is owned by Amneal.
