Amneal Seeks $1.8 Billion Term Loan, $750 Million Notes to Refinance Debt

08:09 AM EDT, 07/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amneal Pharmaceuticals ( AMRX ) said Monday its subsidiary, Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC, is seeking to borrow $1.8 billion in a new seven-year term loan.

The subsidiary also launched an offering of $750 million aggregate principal amount of senior secured notes due 2032 in a private offering, the company said.

The company intends to use the net proceeds of the new term loan and the notes to refinance its existing term loans in full, to repay a portion of outstanding amounts borrowed under its ABL facility, and to pay related fees, premiums, and expenses.

Amneal shares were up 7% in recent premarket activity.
