Amphenol to Acquire CommScope's Connectivity, Cable Solutions Business for $10.5 Billion

07:46 AM EDT, 08/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Amphenol ( APH ) said Monday it has agreed to acquire CommScope Holding's ( COMM ) connectivity and cable solutions, or CCS, business for $10.5 billion in cash.

The deal will expand Amphenol's ( APH ) interconnect product offerings and is expected to be accretive to the company's EPS a year after closing. CCS is expected to generate about $3.6 billion in 2025 sales.

Amphenol ( APH ) said it plans to fund the transaction with a combination of existing cash and debt, with committed financing from JPMorgan Securities, BNP Paribas and Mizuho Bank.

The deal is expected to close in H1 2026.

Shares of CommScope ( COMM ) rose more than 41% in premarket activity Monday, while Amphenol ( APH ) gained 4%.
