10:25 AM EDT, 06/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Anaergia ( ANRGF ) on Wednesday signed a revised contract with Techbau, an Italian company specializing in large-scale engineering and construction projects, to build two new biomethane production plants in Italy.

A statement noted that this revised contract is an expansion of the contact announced on April 2 and brings the total number of facilities the company is supplying for Techbau to seven. Under the contract, the company will supply equipment for the biomethane production process for each of the facilities and Techbau will serve as the general contractor.

Anaergia ( ANRGF ) expects all seven plants to be fully constructed and operational, supplying renewable biomethane to Italy's gas pipeline grid by mid-2026.

Shares of the company were last seen down 0.7% at $1.390, but still near 52 week highs on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
