09:14 AM EST, 03/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Analog Devices ( ADI ) and the BMW Group said Wednesday they are collaborating for the early adoption of ADI's 10BASE-T1S "ethernet to the edge" technology to enable software-defined vehicles.

BMW will be the main original equipment manufacturer to implement the technology in automotive, the companies said.

Financial details of the collaboration were not disclosed.
