Anfield Energy Shares Gain Over 7% as It Adds a Former Congressman to Its Board

12:24 PM EDT, 09/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Anfield Energy ( AEC ) shares were last seen up 7% on Tuesday following the announcement that former South Carolina Congressman Jeff Duncan will join the uranium explorer's board.

Jeff Duncan served as a Republican representative from 2010 to 2024 and was a member of several committees, including Foreign Affairs, Energy and Commerce, and Natural Resources.

"His extensive Congressional experience, relationships and important-and highly relevant-Committee work dovetails very closely with not only the government's robust energy policy pursuits but also Anfield's interest in contributing to the domestic energy renaissance," said chief executive Corey Dias.

Anfield Energy ( AEC ) shares were last seen up $0.81 to $12.20 on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Price: 12.20, Change: +0.81, Percent Change: +7.11
