08:14 AM EDT, 03/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Angus Gold ( ANGVF ) said Tuesday that it doubled the strike length of the new high-grade gold zone at Dorset West within the Golden Sky project in Ontario.
The company said Dorset's west end is now defined over 200 meters, based on preliminary results from its Winter 2025 drilling program. Highlights include 3.5 meters grading 15.6 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 5.5 meters grading 1.7 g/t gold.
"Our goal with the winter program was to test the potential to grow Dorset's strike length, and it is extremely encouraging that we are demonstrating significant grades, and significant strike expansion, in our preliminary results," CEO Breanne Beh said. "With two drills currently dedicated to the project, we will continue our step-out program as we work to determine the full potential of the Dorset Gold Zone."
Angus said it plans to complete 15,000 meters of drilling at Golden Sky in 2025.
Angus' share price dropped 6.3% on Monday to $0.45 on the TSXV.
