ANI Pharmaceuticals Completes Purchase of Alimera Sciences, Sees 'Substantially Higher' Earnings After Deal

09:59 AM EDT, 09/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ANI Pharmaceuticals' ( ANIP ) shares were nearly 1% lower Monday after the drug maker said it has completed its acquisition of Alimera Sciences ( ALIM ) .

ANI Pharmaceuticals ( ANIP ) said it continues to expect the transaction to drive high single-digit to low double-digit accretion in its adjusted non-GAAP earnings per share in 2025 with "substantially higher accretion thereafter."

The deal also should deliver an extra $35 million to $38 million in adjusted non-GAAP earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization in 2025, including around $10 million in expected cost synergies, the company said.
