11:16 AM EDT, 05/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ansys ( ANSS ) said Tuesday it is collaborating with Schrodinger to develop an integrated computational materials engineering approach to product development that infuses virtual materials discovery into the early stages of design.

The two companies will accelerate the discovery of new materials by using a multiscale framework, leading to more optimized materials, components, and manufacturing workflows for customers, the company said.

The new workflows will help customers make decisions earlier in the design process and bring products to market sooner, it said.
