04:58 PM EST, 11/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ANSYS ( ANSS ) reported Q3 non-GAAP earnings late Wednesday of $2.58 per diluted share, up from $1.41 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.73.

Revenue for the quarter that ended Sept. 30 was $601.9 million, up from $458.8 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $523.9 million.

"In light of the pending transaction with Synopsys, Ansys ( ANSS ) has suspended quarterly earnings conference calls and no longer provides quarterly or annual guidance," it said in the earnings statement.

Shares of the company traded 2% higher in after-hours activity.
