Ansys, Sony Semiconductor Collaborating to Improve Autonomous Vehicle Testing

09:58 AM EST, 12/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ansys ( ANSS ) said Thursday that it is collaborating with Sony's ( SONY ) Sony Semiconductor Solutions unit to improve the testing and evaluation of advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous vehicles.

Ansys ( ANSS ) said the collaboration aims to minimize the risks involved with autonomous vehicles by using sensors to more accurately evaluate the surroundings and conditions involved in navigational decisions.

Financial terms of the collaboration were not disclosed.
