Anterix, Lynk Global Get FCC Approval For Satellite Communications Test

08:16 AM EDT, 05/18/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Anterix ( ATEX ) said Monday it received an experimental license from the Federal Communications Commission to test Lynk Global's satellite direct-to-device network on its 900-megahertz spectrum.

The partners plan to evaluate the technology across multiple geographic locations using equipment such as smartphones, computers, and land mobile radios, the company said.

The project aims to support connectivity for infrastructure sectors including utilities, transportation, and logistics, Anterix ( ATEX ) said.

Shares of the company were up 1.1% in Monday premarket activity.
