Aon Part of $350 Million Insurance Program to Boost Ukraine's Recovery

04:26 AM EDT, 06/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Aon (AON) said Wednesday it is part of a $350 million insurance program with the US International Development Finance Corp to boost insurance capacity and stimulate economic recovery in Ukraine

The company said the program includes a $50 million reinsurance facility, developed with the US International Development Finance Corp and the Ukraine Ministry for Development of Economy and Trade to provide war risk policies for businesses in Ukraine.

Additionally, Aon and DFC collaborated on an additional $300 million in war risk insurance for Ukraine's health care and agriculture industries.
