Aon salary increase survey: 2020 average pay hike lower than during 2009 financial crisis

Amid the coronavirus outbreak and the resultant nationwide lockdown, India Inc offered an average salary increase of 6.1 percent, the lowest in almost 25 years. This is according to a survey by global professional services firm Aon.

The salary hikes in 2020 is less than what was offered in 2009, during the financial crisis.
