09:03 AM EDT, 09/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Apogee Enterprises ( APOG ) said Wednesday that it has agreed to acquire UW Interco, a manufacturer of coated substrates, from Heartwood Partners for $240 million in cash.

The architectural products provider said it expects the acquisition to contribute about $100 million of revenue with an adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization margin of roughly 20% in fiscal 2026.

The company also said it intends to integrate UW Interco into its large-scale optical segment, potentially providing $5 million of operational cost savings by the end of fiscal 2027.

The deal is expected to close during Q3 of fiscal 2025, Apogee said.
