04:01 AM EDT, 03/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Apollo Global Management ( APO ) said late Monday that funds managed by the company agreed to a series of transactions to acquire architectural, automotive and solar glass company Nippon Sheet Glass.

The Apollo funds will invest equity to support the company's financial position and long-term growth, while Nippon Sheet Glass' principal lenders will shift a portion of their loans to equity.

The deal, which requires approval from regulators and clearance from Nippon Sheet Glass' shareholders, is expected to complete around March 2027.

The transaction represents Apollo's fifth private equity fund investment in Japan, bringing its total investment to date in the country to almost $3.7 billion in enterprise value.
