09:30 AM EST, 12/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Apollo Global Management ( APO ) said Wednesday funds managed by Apollo affiliates have agreed to acquire a 50% stake in TotalEnergies' Texas solar and battery energy storage system portfolio.

The asset manager said the portfolio includes approximately 2 gigawatts of solar and battery energy storage system assets, 1.7 GW of which will come from three solar projects, with the remaining 300 megawatts coming from two battery storage projects.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

Under the deal, TotalEnergies will retain a 50% stake in the portfolio and will continue to operate the assets.
