Apollo Global Management Launches Sports-Focused Investment Business

08:32 AM EDT, 09/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apollo Global Management ( APO ) said Monday that it has launched Apollo Sports Capital, a new investment business focused on global sports and live events.

The company said it has appointed Al Tylis as the chief executive officer of Apollo Sports Capital, Sam Porter as chief strategy officer, and Rob Givone and Lee Solomon as co-portfolio managers of the platform.

Apollo said the business will mainly invest in credit and hybrid opportunities in the sports landscape, including franchises, leagues, venues, media, and events.

Shares of Apollo were up more than 2% in recent premarket activity Monday.
