Apollo Global Management to Acquire Majority Stake in PowerGrid Services

08:38 AM EDT, 05/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apollo Global Management ( APO ) said Tuesday it has agreed to acquire a majority stake in PowerGrid Services, a provider of maintenance and construction services for US electric utilities.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

The company said it plans to partner with PowerGrid Services' existing investors, including the company's management and the private equity investment firm The Sterling Group, to support the company's continued growth.

It added that the deal remains subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions.
