05:20 AM EST, 11/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apollo Global Management ( APO ) said Monday that a fund it manages has agreed to invest $6.5 billion in a 50% stake in Orsted's Hornsea 3, a North Sea offshore wind project.

The investment includes the acquisition price for a 50% interest in the joint venture holding Hornsea 3 and a commitment to fund 50% of the project's future construction costs, the company said.

Once complete, the project will have a capacity of 2.9 gigawatts, enough to power more than 3 million UK households, the company said.
