Appian Reports 'Breakeven' Q4 Adjusted Net Income, Revenue Increases; 2025 Full-Year, Q1 Outlook Issued

08:04 AM EST, 02/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Appian (APPN) reported 'breakeven' Q4 adjusted net income Wednesday, down from $0.06 per diluted share a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.01.

Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 30 was $166.7 million, up from $145.3 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $164.3 million.

For Q1, the software design and consultancy firm expects non-GAAP net income of $0.02 to $0.05 per diluted share on revenue of $162.0 million and $164.0 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expect non-GAAP earnings of $0.00 per share on revenue of $167.0 million.

For 2025, the company expects non-GAAP net income of $0.17 and $0.22 per share on revenue of $680.0 million to $684.0 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect non-GAAP earnings of $0.13 per share on revenue of $683.1 million.

Shares of the company were up more than 9% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
