07:15 AM EDT, 05/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) has blocked the "Fortnite" video game's submission, preventing its release on the US App Store or to the Epic Games Store for iOS in the European Union, Fortnite said Friday.

"Fortnite on iOS will be offline worldwide until Apple ( AAPL ) unblocks it," Fortnite said in a social media post.

Apple ( AAPL ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
