Apple Inc chief executive officer Tim Cook on Wednesday told CNBC's Jim Cramer that he is optimistic on the outcome of the trade talks between US and China.
According to him, the US and China trade tensions are temporary and it would be in interest of both Washington to Beijing to come to an agreement.
Cook said world economy will strengthen if US and China reach an agreement.
The company is faced with weakening iPhone demand in China, the world's biggest smartphone market, where a slowing economy has also been buffeted by a trade war with the US.
